Day 78, October 28. We had a nightmare of a time trying to get out of Baiyu. There were no buses leaving town today, or the next day, or at any known time in the future. I felt a little trapped, but luckily we met up with some migrant workers who also wanted to get out of town. Together, we rented a driver and vehicle to take us on a long drive (with a vehicle break down as well) to Ganzi. These cool guys were out selling their meat in the middle of the day in some tiny town between Baiyu and Ganzi that we stopped to have lunch in.
