It works!
So I went back tonight for more acupuncture, and the doctor put a needle in my chest for about 15 minutes (and Joy took a photo with her phone camera), and then replaced it with another nubby thing. It’s a little irritated tonight, so I might take it off tomorrow. My back does feel better, however that might just be because it healed over time.
BUT, the amazing thing that happened tonight was that she totally healed the pain in the arch of my foot. I can’t believe it, and in fact I’m trying not to believe it, but the facts are there that my pain has been relieved.
Because I always wear ‘welfare’ flipflops everywhere I go, I developed quite a pain in my feet. It hurts so much while I teach, that I started wearing my NB runners to school instead of the flipflops. So tonight I told her that both the arches of my feet hurt. And if you press down on them, they really hurt. She pressed around a few areas of my wrists, and found two different painful pressure points. The left wrist goes with the right leg, and the right wrist goes with the left leg. On the spot she found on my left wrist, she taped another nubby thing down. On my right wrist, she couldn’t use the nubby thing, so she just painfully massaged it for a bit.
Once I got downstairs from the doctor’s office, I pressed on the arch of my right foot, and I didn’t feel any pain at all! I didn’t want to believe it, because I just figured my mind was playing placebo games on me, but all night tonight I kept pressing on my left and right arches, and the left one still hurts a lot (I guess the massage didn’t work), but the right one doesn’t hurt one bit. Well, I’m sold on that. Now I have to think of anything else that’s bothering me and go get healed. You can go there for cramps, headaches, circulation problems, and just about anything.
